Significance of AlHajj

Hajj is one of the Islam’s Pillars and Muhammed (P.B.U.H) said: “Islam is based on five pillars: testifying that there is no true God except Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, performing praying ,the payment of Zakat, performing Hajj to (Ka'bah) ,for those who are able to undertake the journey, and fasting Ramadan.”

Muslim must undertake Hajj at least once in his life, and if he repeated again, it will be considered as a voluntary. God has enjoined Muslim with Hajj in order to purify ourselves and to enhance the meanings of patience and obedience.

The rituals of Hajj begins on the month of Dhul-Hijjah. The first step for any pilgrim is to enter a state of Ihram and then go to Mecca to do the Arrival Tawaf then to Mina to spend the Day of Tarwiah ,and then to Mount Arafat. After that, they will go to throw Pebbles on the Day of Sacrifice, then they will go back to Mecca to do the Ifadah Tawaf, and then return to Mina to spend the Tashriq Days. Finally, the Pilgrims will return to Mecca to perform the Farewell Tawaf and leave the Holy places.
